Application

Primarily used for welding steel pipes of corresponding strength grades, as well as welding other structures such as ships and bridges.

Characteristics

JL-E6011 is a cellulose potassium type electrode specially designed for vertical-down welding. It can be used with both AC and DC power sources, enabling all-position welding including vertical-down welding. During downward welding, the molten metal and slag do not drip, with strong arc force and deep penetration. For root pass welding, it achieves single-sided welding with double-sided formation and high welding efficiency.

Note

Under normal circumstances, the welding rod does not need to be baked before welding. If the welding rod becomes damp, it must be baked at 70-90°C for 1 hour before use.

Before welding, impurities such as rust, oil, and moisture on the work piece must be removed.

During welding, the welding rod should not be swung excessively, and the arc height should be appropriate.
