Application

Primarily used for welding steel pipes of corresponding strength grades as well as other structures such as ships, bridges, etc.

Characteristics

JL-E6010 is a cellulose sodium type electrode specifically designed for vertical-down welding. It adopts DC reverse polarity and can perform all-position welding including vertical-down welding. During vertical-down welding, the molten iron and slag do not drip, with strong arc force and deep penetration. For root pass welding, it enables single-sided welding with double-sided formation and high welding efficiency.

Note

Under normal circumstances, the welding rod does not need to be baked before welding. If the welding rod becomes damp, it should be baked at 70-90°C for 1 hour before use.

Before welding, impurities such as rust, oil, and moisture on the work piece must be removed.

During welding, the welding rod should not be swung excessively, and the arc height should be appropriate.
