Application

Suitable for welding important titanium or niobium stabilizer Cr18Ni9Nb type corrosion resistant stainless steel, such as 06Cr18Ni11Ti, 06Cr18Ni11Nb.

Characteristics

JL-EA132 is a Cr18Ni9Nb stainless steel electrode with a rutile-type flux and low-carbon niobium stabilizer. It is suitable for both AC and DC welding and can be used in all-position welding. The electrode offers excellent welding performance, with stable arcs, minimal spatter, easy slag removal, and aesthetically pleasing welds. The deposited metal exhibits superior resistance to intergranular corrosion.

Note

The welding rod shall be baked at 320-350℃ for 1 hour before welding, and used immediately after baking.

Rust, oil, water and other impurities on the welding parts must be removed before welding.

It is recommended to use a DC power supply, because the welding depth is shallow with AC welding, and the current should not be too high to avoid cracking of the coating.

Minimize the amount of heat input, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large.

Preheat and interpass temperature should be kept below 150℃ .
