Application

Suitable for the same type of ultra-low carbon stainless steel materials and welding of different types of steel.

Characteristics

JL-EA042 is an ultra-low carbon Cr23Ni13Mo2 stainless steel electrode with rutile type coating, which can be used for both cross and direct welding. Due to the addition of appropriate amount of molybdenum in the weld, the heat resistance, crack resistance and corrosion resistance of the weld metal are improved.

Note

The welding rod must be baked at 320-350 ℃ for 1-2 hours before welding, and used immediately after baking.

Rust, oil, water and other impurities on the welding parts must be removed before welding.

It is recommended to use a DC power supply, because the welding depth is shallow with AC welding, and the current should not be too high to avoid cracking of the coating.

Minimize the amount of heat input, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large.

Preheat and interpass temperature should be kept below 150℃ .
