Application

Suitable for welding urea, petrochemical production, synthetic fiber and other equipment and similar stainless steel components, but also can be used for chromium stainless steel and composite steel and dissimilar steel after welding cannot be heat treated.

Characteristics

JL-EA022 is an ultra-low carbon Cr19Ni13Mo3 stainless steel electrode with rutile type flux. It can be used in both AC and DC welding, and can be welded in all positions. The welding process performance is excellent, and the deposited metal has good heat resistance, corrosion resistance and crack resistance.

Note

The welding rod must be baked at 320-350℃ for 1 hour before welding, and used immediately after baking.

Rust, oil, water and other impurities on the welding parts must be removed before welding.

It is recommended to use a DC power supply, because the welding depth is shallow with AC welding, and the current should not be too high to avoid cracking of the coating.

Minimize the amount of heat input, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large.

Preheat and interpass temperature should be kept below 150℃ .
