Characteristics

JL-J506Fe is an alkaline iron powder-coated low-hydrogen potassium type electrode. It can be used with both AC and DC power sources and is suitable for all-position welding. It offers excellent welding process performance, with good arc stiffness, minimal spatter, easy slag removal, aesthetically pleasing weld bead formation, and high deposition efficiency, which can reduce the number of welding passes required.

Note

The welding rod must be baked at 350-380°C for 1 hour before welding and used immediately after baking.

Remove rust, oil, water, and other impurities from the work piece before welding.

During welding, short arc operation should be used, with the oscillation amplitude not excessively large, and narrow weld bead welding is preferable.

To prevent the occurrence of arc initiation porosity, arc initiation plates or the arc initiation return method should be used for welding.
